Laayo documents carry a QR code and a reference code, usually in the footer or next to the signature.

The code starts with LY-. Dashes and spaces are optional.

What the result means

Genuine

Issued by Laayo and still in force.

Revoked

Withdrawn by Laayo. Don't rely on it.

Expired

Authentic, but no longer current.

Only the document type, title, recipient name and issue date are shown. Amounts, phone numbers and other private details stay on the document itself. To prevent misuse, Laayo keeps a record of each check: the time, IP address, approximate location and device.
